5 Popular 3D Building Print Models

I often question my friends of 3D printer enthusiasts, what is the first 3D model you printed out? The first model most of them want to print out is the buildings around them. We have reason to believe that they are the most common and the easiest things to replicate around us. Today we will introduce you to the five print works that suit you.

1. Cottage

This model is designed by Code2 on Thingiverse. Different from the smooth exterior walls and roof tiles of the usual cottages, this small wooden house has a distinctive design. The roof tiles are stacked in layers, neatly arranged and symmetrical, which is quite beautiful. The brick patterns on the exterior wall are arranged in an orderly manner. The front and back sides are supported by three pillars each. The overall three-dimensional impression is strong. Especially the chimney erected vertically on the right side of the house has the charm of a medieval wooden house.

2. Small Merchant House

The same model is from Code2. This model is composed of a base, a middle layer and a roof separately, which are stitched together after printing. The model has made a lot of changes on an original basis, and the decoration design of the internal structure is clearer. Each window of the middle structure is also individually hollowed out, which invigorates the entire model. The author also ingeniously placed a lot of printed character models in the room. The model is made using a TIANSE WOOD PLA.

3. Drawbridge

This movable suspension bridge was designed by the designer BREASE and using TIANSE coffee pla filament. The wooden drawbridge has 3 positions; down, middle and raised. You simply move it and it will snap into position. There are 4 short flat-topped columns on both sides of the suspension bridge, you can put the model you want, of course, the author here put two pairs of stone lions.

4. Awesome Forbidden Watchtower

Awesome Forbidden Watchtower printed by stex.efesto (his IG) in TIANSE Sliver PLA. The tower is hollow so you can add a LED inside, the base has some room for a battery but it’s not specifically designed for any particular setup. Funnily enough a LED tealight could be used upside down and make it look like a lighthouse! For that to fit better you should scale the model up a bit and print the flat roof option.

5.  Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower – or as the French call it, La Tour Eiffel – is one of the world’s most recognizable landmarks. If you haven’t been there, why not 3D print an Eiffel Tower for yourself?
